Sending love to the Scherers on the loss of their Linda. I love the image of her waving and smiling on her pink tricycle in Sanibel, what a wonderful way to spend time in the sun. I have so many memories from when I was in school and hanging out at the Scherer's barn and home with Emily. We had so much fun! The most memorable event is when I accidentally shot a bb gun through the window of their home while doing a social studies project! We were making a video with friends on a battle from the civil war across the driveway from the house…and who knew the gun was loaded! Thank God it just hit the window! I believe a babysitter was there at the time but Linda handled the news calmly and I made a plan to pay for the window with my parents. A few years later the window was finally replaced. You never knew what would happen at the Scherer’s but Linda always welcomed us in and we felt happy in her home!

She was wonderful at letting things go and not letting anything stress her out. Something she was teaching me and still. Her words “yeah no biggie!! lol I don’t care just as long as we have fun, laugh and love one another! Forget about the small stuff!”Miss yous my friend for checking in with me and reminding me of the important things in life.
